The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine Government-University-Industry-Philanthropy Research Roundtable (GUIPRR) hosted a forum discussing the future of the U.S. Research Enterprise and role of research parks and innovation districts.
A panel included AURP Chief Strategy Officer and U of Illinois Research Park Executive Director and two economists, moderated by Mary Ann Feldman of Arizona State University.
Topics included the economic impact of research parks and innovation districts in job creating, tax revenue and economic growth to states and localities.
Other panels included representatives from AURP members, Georgia Tech and U of Arizona.
